Nearly 50 students, faculty, and housestaff gathered on the MAA's patio on October 21 for a networking reception
The UVA Medical Alumni Association hosted a networking reception for Black students, faculty, and housestaff on Monday, October 21, 2024. Nearly 50 people attended the event, including Tracy Downs, MD, senior associate dean for diversity, equity and inclusion in the UVA School of Medicine and chief diversity and community engagement officer for UVA Health.
This networking reception is held in the fall each year and open to faculty and students of the MD, BIMS and MPH programs, as well as current housestaff.
