2024 Family Day
More than 100 family members and students in the Class of 2028 participated in this year's Family Day event, sponsored by the UVA Medical Alumni Association
The UVA Medical Alumni Association hosted 2024 Family Day on October 12. The annual event welcomes the families of first-year students for a day of learning about the medical school experience.
Throughout the day, attendees learned about topics including the four-college system, the school’s curriculum, and a snapshot of the Class of 2028. A student panel of upperclassmen answered questions from family members and shared their personal insights. Families also experienced a Team-Based Learning exercise and toured the Claude Moore Medical Education Building and SIM Center.
